Hey all,
I wanted to share with you an experiment that I tried the other night. I set my Mamiya on the tripod in the front passenger seat of my car and drove around town exposing for upwards of 20 seconds. This caused a blurring effect of all the lights as if it were paint rather than a photograph.
I found this rather interesting and continually try to think of ways to alter this method to get cooler results.
Here are some of the shots.

These were the ones that turned out nicely. It took a lot to get a few good results but if you have any suggestions to further my artistic light spectacular let me know.
This afternoon I tagged along with a couple of friends to the Xenophon Farm in Montague Center as an attempt to gather some stock images of our equestrian friends for an assignment.

Let me know what you think! Thanks for reading.

Your blurred light pics came out really neat. The top one is my fave. And I like the picture of the run down house/shed/shack. I don't normally like that because well, I just don't. But with the sunlight and the greenery around it, it looks cool. And I like horses. Clydesdale are my favorite. If you wondered. ;-) Shoot on, my friend.
Ryan,
Your first attempts to use light while driving, seem to be a smashing success. I like the first one you posted the best. The pictures on the farm are nice too. Horses are cool. Did you get to ride any??? Ha, ha!! Keep on capturing the moments.
Quit horsing around....
what a pun.
My favs are the first 2 horse shots and the first light shot!
